Letters of Victoria

April 23, 2014

During a staycation-style trip to Victoria, I told my husband that I had to catch 'em all – I was a little distracted by all the wonderful letters.

I grew up with relatives on Vancouver Island and ferry travel was a large part of my childhood. Spending time with my Grandparents and Cousins usually occupied most of the visit so I never really made it into town. Last week, my husband and I were having a Staycation and decided to spend Easter in Victoria. We had afternoon tea at the Empress and walked around Buchart Gardens, and there were many stops along the way that had me going "ooooo look at those letters." I joked with my husband that "I had to catch 'em all."
