Calling all 8-bit nostalgia nerds! If you enjoy pushing pixels up, down, left, or right to avoid those colorful ghosts down at the local arcade you’re going to love this font! Kyoshi features eight different pixel styles that include classics like squares and dots but also unique styles like hearts and knits. The character set includes next-level features like fractions, math symbols, an arrow set, cute emoticons, and symbols like potions and space invaders.
All of these pixel styles are available in a full-color version featuring a gradient across each letter that has a fully customizable palette. Play around with the default gamer-girl pastel, or choose your own! I recommend using DJR’s Color Font Customizer tool.
Kyoshi was inspired by two existing video game typefaces, one used in the 1989 release of Sky Robo and the other from the 1993 release of Fire Barrel.
