Expanded Language Support for Nisga'a

The team at Partners and Hawes got in touch with me about adding language support for the Nisga’a Nation. They had chosen ABC Ginto Nord to use in a project promoting Nisga’a tourism but needed to be able to support the Nisga’a language on the website and in promotional materials. 

Nisga’a contains some characters that are not included in the usual set for Latin-based languages – as you can see right here, the g in Nisga’a should have a line below but that is not supported in most fonts. We contacted the designer of the original typeface and they agreed to let me create a custom version for this project.
